student council

the student council executive selected in spring election next year following election campaigns , assemblies. executives positions include president, vice-president, treasurer/secretary, social representative, sports representative , junior vice-president. student council carries out , plans activities such hillstock.


school prefects

selections school prefect position held in spring following year. teachers , current prefects (grade 12) vote on selected prefect. twenty-five elite student prefects selected. prefects elite students strive students feel welcomed in school. host events such grade 8 orientation days, concerts, curriculum information nights, commencement, etc. come school , stay late events such annual pancake breakfast , parent/teacher interviews. name of prefects engraved on wood plaques , can found in music hallway.


music directorate

a body of students committed management of music related activities. positions include president, vice-president, treasurer(ledoux), secretary, band representative, strings representative, vocal representative, stage crew manager, student council liaison , members @ large.


clubs

the school has many student-run clubs , activities deca fhci business , entrepreneurship club, debate club, jewish culture club, people club, muslim club, math club, science club, law , politics club, anime club, gender sexuality alliance club, art club, etc.


co-operative program

fhci offers cooperative program allows students in grades 11 , 12 gain work experience. each student participates in program receives 2.0 credits out of 4.0 1 semester. students able choose field in want work , in turn matched supervising faculty member. students put both working hours , class hours program.
