since june 2005 stamps have been replaced stickers, issued telematics italian revenue agency, agenzia delle entrate, @ point of sale. stickers replaced stamps on september 1, 2007.


people still had older stamps on date not able subsequently use them because of change adhesive stickers , older stamps not presently refundable. due prior purchasing of stamps in large quantities, businesses suffered fiscal damage because purchased stamps shortly before changeover stickers.
