larry nemmers, eldest of 9 children, native of waterloo, iowa , 1960 graduate of columbus high school in waterloo. there friend of future professional baseball player, virg erickson. later attended upper iowa university in fayette, iowa, graduating in 1965 bachelor s degree in biology. nemmers has master s degrees in physics , chemistry, received @ east texas state university in commerce, texas , in educational administration northern illinois university in dekalb, illinois.


family

he , wife, sherry, reside in springfield, missouri. has 3 sons, shane, lance, , brett, previous marriage 4 grandchildren.


education career

nemmers career in education began in 1965 , retired in 1994. during time educator, served teacher, textbook publisher, assistant principal, , principal. since retirement education, nemmers has traveled across country motivational speaker. principal of elgin high school in elgin, il 1982 1994.
