the yellowfin sole has deep body, small mouth, moderately large , closely situated eyes, , pronounced snout. upper side of body olive brown in colour, dark mottling, , dorsal , anal fins yellowish on both sides of body, faint dark bars , narrow dark line @ base. scales rough on both sides of body.
