abbruscato played reggiana, verona, arezzo, torino, lecce, chievo (loan), vicenza, pescara, cremonese, feralpisalò , fiorenzuola in professional career.
verona
after making professional debut hometown club reggiana, joined verona in 1999. went on loan livorno , triestina 2000 2002. in july 2002 included in pre-season camp of first team of verona, making club debut during 2002–03 serie b season.
arezzo
in summer 2003 signed serie c1 club arezzo on co-ownership deal. on 22 june 2004 arezzo signed abbruscato outright verona.
torino
in january 2006 abbruscato signed torino on temporary basis, €800,000 fee. in june 2006 signed outright €3.6 million, on four-year contract. however, in summer 2007 sold lecce on co-ownership deal €1.65 million. in june 2008, torino bought 50% registration rights of abbruscato lecce €2 million.
in summer 2009, left turin again chievo on temporary basis free.
vicenza
in summer 2010, abbruscato signed vicenza on three-year contract €1.2 million fee, part of swap alessandro sgrigna went turin €1.32 million.
late career
in june 2012, abbruscato sold pescara vicenza cashless swap stefano giacomelli. both players tagged €2.3 million. abbruscato signed two-year contract.
however, abbruscato released @ end of season. joined cremonese on free transfer.
in july 2014 moved cremonese join feralpisalò.
