santa claus father christmas. (also main protagonist of show). owns large workshop in north pole 3 elves. owns sleigh reindeer. not clear how long has been santa claus or how old in episode 12 labours of santa claus revealed has been santa claus @ least 100 years. in christmas conference stated had ended 451st annual christmas conference, has apparently been in job long time. shown in classic santa outfit; red suit, hat, pants , black boots golden buckles.


thoren

thoren female elf @ workshop , caring , kind. other elves, wants things turn out best santa claus , 1 looks out s safety. powers enable fly, become invisible short periods of time , able translate known language on planet, including animals. because cannot hold powers long amounts of time, believed second oldest elf, next jordi.


guilfi

guilfi tallest elf @ workshop , great mechanics. wears red hat , has sleeves rolled up. has not graduated level of master elf thoren or jordi; hence why left @ workshop , has no powers (until last episode develops telekinesis). santa claus take guilfi him sometime when jordi can t go, or go in mission jordi , thoren. s maybe youngest elf, learn russian language after go kalicagrad jordi balbo thoren , santa claus


jordi

presumably oldest elf due refined magical skills. shortest , wears red hat pompom. undershirt untucked. brains of 3 , mechanic guilfi. willing people, jumps in without thinking. has power change animal period of time.


balbo

balbo polar bear acts santa s assistant. in 1 episode revealed santa found him when got lost @ sea on iceberg , separated parents. santa found him , took him workshop. balbo playful , horribly clumsy. watches workshop guilfi. s in love thoren.


gruzzlebeard

gruzzlebeard (originally called père fouettard in french) main antagonist , santa s neighbour in series , tries foil plans , ruin christmas. appears in every episode trying foil santa s plan, in end, ends stuck in own trap. large troll, human in appearance large blue gruzzled beard (hence name) , bald, cone-shaped head. enjoys bossing dudley around , playing guitar (which isn t at). refers santa red-suited sap or bulbnose , elves oafs , reindeer hatracks . gruzzlebeard , dudley both seem immortal , ageless: both have not aged when santa travels year 2222, gruzzlebeard has become futuristic totalitarian dictator in absence of santa , helpers.


dudley

dudley different species of troll gruzzlebeard (dudley terrible troll, close cousin of elves). confirmed in story of trolls in order find out how defeat terrible troll, santa & elves had ask terrible troll themselves; in removed dudley s hat while asleep , found out globe attached head made of steel. episode, however, there never under hat , gruzzlebeard had called him elf on numerous occasions (and ears more elves troll s) dudley can sneaky , evil gruzzlebeard, have side. has helped santa (probably save own butt) , fed way gruzzlebeard treats him. gruzzlebeard, both immortal , ageless.


the reindeer

instead of traditional team of santa claus s reindeer, there 3 reindeer pull santa s sleigh: rudolph, father donner , talkative blitzen. other 2 don t have big roles; rudolph got own episode in show thought no 1 wanted him around. ran away , befriended young inuit boy, though parted ways when santa came looking him.
