pseudophoenix genus of pinnate-leaved palms found throughout caribbean. 3 species endemic greater antilles, while fourth, p. sargentii, distributed in northern caribbean , adjacent portions of central , north american mainland.



pseudophoenix ekmanii: dominican republic.
pseudophoenix lediniana: southwest haiti.
pseudophoenix sargentii: bahamas, cuba, dominican republic, haiti, florida keys, puerto rico, navassa island, turks , caicos islands , windward islands (also mexico , belize).
pseudophoenix vinifera: haiti , southwest dominican republic.
