the sunshine coast cricket association region s cricket competition. competition has been established on sixty years.


netball

the sunshine coast region has several district netball competitions based out of nambour, maroochydore , caloundra.


the sunshine coast lightning compete in suncorp super netball league. first national level sporting team based in region, , play home games @ university of sunshine coast s indoor arena.


soccer

sunshine coast football region s premier association football competition 9 teams in top division. other affiliated clubs play @ lower levels.

the sunshine coast represented in state level national premier league queensland sunshine coast fc. sunshine coast wanderers fc join queensland second tier 2018 while fire remain in first tier npl. reported in 2016 fire in process of applying join national a-league.


rugby league

the sunshine coast falcons compete in queensland cup , serve feeder club professional melbourne storm compete in national rugby league.

the sunshine coast rugby union runs local rugby union competition. top division - referred grade - has 4 teams contesting 2017 season. these clubs noosa, maroochydore, university, , caloundra.


the second division - reserve grade or reggies - has 4 grade clubs fraser coast, gympie, nambour, , maleny.


roller derby


roller derby played out of caloundra indoor stadium.
