the sports turf managers association (stma) presents various awards each year. starting in 2001, sports turf manager of year awards have been presented annually in triple-a, double-a, class a, , short-season/rookie divisions of minor league baseball , chosen 16 league winners. stma presents baseball field of year award, includes schools , parks, college/university , professional categories.
