the winner of miss angola represents country @ miss universe. on occasion, when winner not qualify (due age) either contest, runner-up sent.


in 2006, miss angola 2005 did not compete @ miss universe, due minimum age recruitment, 1st runner-up took title replacing @ pageant.


in 2006-2007, miss angola winners competed @ miss world pageant.

as of 2012, comite miss angola has created separate pageant called miss angola mundo select representative miss world 2013. pageant held first time on august 24, 2012 in luanda , winner maria castelo represented angola in miss world 2013 in indonesia on september 28, 2013.


in 2017 new franchise of miss world angola has held contest. miss world angola in under miss cplp angola organisation.
