fritzsch died on 15 october 1997, shortly before 77th birthday. small general buried in heidefriedhof dresden cemetery. subsequently honored monument in rudolf harbig stadion, home of dynamo dresden, , annual football tournament in dresden has been organized in memory. today movie filmed movie career @ sg dynamo dresden.
