among significant items on display scarf exact replica of 1 hand knit queen victoria during second boer war (one of 8 made). original scarf presented private richard thompson of rcr on display in canadian war museum. 4 such scarves presented soldiers of british army, , 4 soldiers of colonial forces (canada, australia, new zealand , south africa).

the museum holds medals of brigadier milton f. gregg, vc , of general charles foulkes, man who, along general johannes blaskowitz, signed german capitulation agreement @ hotel de wereld in wageningen (netherlands) on may 6, 1945, ending world war ii in europe.
