after returning portugal , finishing studies in architecture, lino began work in father s construction materials business, in 1897. during time, lino began travels across portugal , studies of regionalisms in architecture , style, paying particular note alentejo region.


back portugal, designed , built more 700 projects. many in mediterranean revival , soft portuguese styles.


he founding member of national academy of fine arts , served secretary in 1946.
