he won shazam awards in 1970 best individual story ( no evil shall escape sight in green lantern vol. 2, #76, writer dennis o neil), , best pencil artist (dramatic division); , in 1971 best individual story ( snowbirds don t fly in green lantern vol. 2, #85, o neil).
