a manta ray, nandi, had been accidentally caught in nets protecting south african coast sharks, joined ocean voyager exhibit in 2008 first manta ray on display in country; aquarium 1 of 4 sites in world displaying one. second manta ray, tallulah, added in september 2009, joined in 2010 female named billi,


and in 2012 male. animals range in size 10–13 ft wingspans.
