in march, 1967, eddy performing @ sans souci hotel in palm beach, florida when stricken on stage cerebral hemorrhage. singing partner, gale sherwood, , accompanist, ted paxson, @ side. died few hours later in hours of march 6, 1967, @ age of 65. interred @ hollywood forever cemetery, between mother , widow (who outlived him twenty years).
