the can-am challenge cup races in 1966–68 held @ old stardust raceway , officially called stardust grand prix.


in july 2006, las vegas city council approved 2.44-mile, 14-turn, counterclockwise street circuit in downtown area champ car event slated april 6–8, 2007.
